What I Wore Wednesday

I am linking up with The Pleated Poppy for her What I Wore Wednesday feature.

Sweater: Old Navy
Jeans: Lucky Brand, old
Wedges: Target
Socks: Target

First of all, I felt really awkward with my self-timer and tripod taking pictures of myself.  I had no idea where to look as it looked cheesy IMO looking at the camera and smiling and I had the whole "I don't know what to do with my hands" quote going through my head.  Maybe I can talk my husband into snapping some shots of me sometime...until then, the tripod will have to do.

Like I said in my previous post, I wanted to hold myself accountable to not dressing like a complete slob everyday by posting some outfits with y'all.  Disclaimer:  I did change after this as it is in the 70's here in Dallas and I was sweating, but if it were chilly enough this is what I would have worn.

I love the fox sweater.  I have seen a few people wearing fox attire.  What I won't tell you is that they all were under the age of 10. :P
It's hard to see in this picture, but I am wearing a pair of striped socks with the wedges and I think it adds a fun little touch to the outfit.  The wedges make it a little more sophisticated.  At least that makes me feel better about liking a sweater adorned with a fox.

Check out what all the other fabulous ladies are sportin' today!

Essie 3 Way Glaze

I absolutely LOVE having my nails painted. As much as I wish I could get manicures/pedicures whenever I wanted, the truth is I can't. That would be quite expensive.
So I am learning how to paint my own nails to where they look as professional as possible.
Btw, my toenails haven't seen paint in at least 3 months....I am letting them "breathe" and no one sees them anyways.
Painting the nails on my hands has always been challenging. Especially painting my right hand. I usually would speed through it and not give it much thought.

Essie is my favorite nail polish brand currently.
I have seen this 3 Way Glaze before and decided to buy it. You use it as a base, strengthener, and top coat.
It is wonderful! It dries quickly and makes my nails feel like they are professionally painted.
The Sally Hansen nail polish isn't the best formula as it is a little runny and requires at least 3 coats, but I have had it for a while and needed something light since I have been using really dark colors lately on my nails.

I think they look pretty good :)
I feel like my nail polish always chips way too soon, so I am hoping this will help with that! I'll let you know in a few days if it is working!

My goal is to learn new techniques for my nails...If I learn anything earth shattering, I will let y'all know :)
