Simple Christmas Wreath

Since we live in a much smaller place temporarily here in Texas, I decided to keep the Christmas decor simple and minimum. I didn't want it to feel cluttered. So I kept that in mind as I browsed Christmas decor on Pinterest.
I came across a pin for an adorable wreath that I decided to recreate. I wanted it to be cheap and use things that I already had if I could help it. Gotta save most of our money for buying presents for our loved ones rather than on Christmas decor that no one besides us will even see.

Here was the inspiration:
This was one is very colorful and bright and while I love that about it, I wanted to make something a little more traditional.

I decided to buy a grapevine twig wreath and decided to not spray paint it as to keep the natural look.

Here are the materials I needed:
-I purchased the wreath and the ribbon at Michael's for less than $10 for both.
-These are ornaments I already had (I ended up not using the heart ornament and used another gold).

This is what I came up with. It was so easy and quick and I really like the simplicity of the wreath.

It is a lot more traditional than my Fall wreath I had made last year:

I used a Martha Stewart tutorial to make the big red bow. My mom could probably teach Martha a thing or two about making bows as she is quite the bow connoisseur, but I did not inherit that talent from her so I had to turn to a tutorial for guidance.

I like this wreath because it is something I can re-use for different seasons and can add and remove from easily.

What kind of holiday wreath do you have hanging on your door?
