Where I Work

I thought I would share with you where I spend most of my day.  That is after I drink my coffee and veg out on the couch for a little bit in the mornings.  

I know I am only on day 5 of working from home, but I am loving it! It feels great getting things crossed off my forever long to do list and having more time for myself, husband, and friends.  When I was working full-time plus photography, my evenings were spent on the computer editing and the same for my weekends.  So being able to get all that done during the day while my husband is at work is great!

The office that I work in was a room that my husband was hoping he could do with whatever he wanted (like hang Texas Tech stuff), but when we decided I would work from home, he knew I would use this room and that I would obviously want to decorate it.

He still has a wall in here ha, but I took over most of the room. 

One day he can have a man-cave :)

 I tried to keep it simple and clutter free.  My husband bought me the filing cabinet to keep contracts and other important documents in.  I kind of want to paint it a fun and bright color.

I got this shelf of Craigslist,  but it is actually from Ikea.  I had gone to Ikea to buy a shelf, but they were sold out of the shelves I wanted. So I searched Craigslist and found this one already put together for $10 (I think)! Score! I adorned it with some random things found at World Market, TJ Maxx, Anthropologie, and the stamp holder from Kirklands with a gift card I had.

I needed some fun decor to look at while I sit at the computer, so I ordered some Instagram prints from Printstagram! I love how they turned out and simply hung them from twine with mini clothespins. And yes, that is my husband's lips and ridiculous mustache he had for a very short time.  Not a fan, but thought the picture was hilarious.

I ordered this print off of Etsy and I think it's a perfect motto for this business of mine. The shop is Letterhappy.

I like it in here and don't mind spending most of my day working on pictures, blogging, and eventually making some new stuff for my Etsy shop!  Gotta get organized first before I add more to my plate.
