Scrapbook Paper Christmas Trees

My friend, Melanie, and I love to craft together. So whenever we get together, we like to find a project to do together and thanks to Pinterest, we have tons of ideas! (I think I have posted about Pinterest in almost every post on this blog haha). She had seen a craft where you use a foam cone

and pin circles all over it to make a Christmas tree. So that's just what we did :)

Here is what you'll need:
-scrapbook paper or fabric
-a tool for making circles
-pins
-foam cone

We each made three and bought three different size cones to make a grouping.

We used this handy dandy tool to make perfect circles:
I love this thing and have so many ideas of how else to use it!

It is important that when you pin the center of your circle onto the cone and that you put the second circle to the right and underneath the previous circle and repeat.
Here is a visual so that makes more sense (hopefully):

Here is the grouping.

It would be fun to use fabric, but then you can't use that tool to make perfect circles and this was a lot easier.

Aren't they cute?
