There is this really awesome, free program you can download for your computer. It is called Evernote. It is a wonderful tool to keep all your recipes, decorating ideas, DIY tutorials, or whatever else all organized and neat.
I use it for recipes. It is so convenient and it there is even an iPhone app so that I can have all of my recipes on my phone for trips at the store or for recipe sharing. You can email the recipes or post them to Facebook right from your phone. You can do the same with the program on your computer. Um, AWESOME!
Here is an example of what it looks like:
{Click on the image to make it bigger}
On the left are all of your "notebooks". I have it organized into food categories.
Appetizers, sides, chicken dishes, pork dishes, desserts, and etc.
To the right of the "notebooks" are the recipes you have under each "notebook."
When you click on one of the recipes, it shows the details on the right.
In this image you can see in the blue lettering that you can save the link to where you found the recipe. I love that! That makes it really easy for when I blog about a recipe, I know where I got the recipe from so I can give the owner credit.
I store all of the recipes that I have made that I want to keep so they are easily accessible. I would love to have a tangible notebook with all of these recipes as well, but for now this is the way to go. It is easy and convenient.
You should check out Evernote if you haven't already and see if it makes organizing whatever it may be, easier.
Disclaimer: Evernote doesn't know who I am. I just love their product!
